Having a local as a tour guide is always a bonus. The bed food and drink is always provided. But when it’s time to climb a giant hill, first you emotionally prepare, but you tighten the shoelaces and get on with it. And defiantly worth it. Blackford Hill is a bit of a trek out of the center of Edinburgh but worth the view of Arthur’s Seat and the Castle for sure.
And it wouldn’t be a trip to Edinburgh without taking in the amazing views of Arthur’s Seat. A bit of a grizzly day but when you go to the top and there isn’t another single soul up there and to have all for yourself, nothing short of amazing.
